Through educational programs, cultural initiatives, and collaborative creative platforms, the foundation works to expand inclusive access to culture, build meaningful bridges between communities, and contribute to a more connected, culturally informed world.

Cultural Content
Culturvator produces original multimedia content that amplifies the voices of artists, thinkers, and cultural practitioners across the region and beyond. Our podcast, Culturvator Conversations, brings candid conversations with creatives exploring identity, collaboration, and cultural exchange. We also develop long-form visual storytelling, including an upcoming documentary spotlighting the lives and craft of women artists and practitioners working across heritage and culture. Through these platforms, we aim to deepen cross-cultural understanding and make artistic discourse more accessible to diverse audiences.
Culture Trips
Culturvator designs bespoke cultural journeys that immerse participants in the creative and historical fabric of culture hubs across the world. These thoughtfully curated trips offer behind-the-scenes access to exhibitions, artist studios, heritage landmarks, and local cultural movements. Led by curators, artists, and cultural historians, each itinerary is crafted to foster meaningful exchange, deepen cross-cultural understanding, and spark new forms of collaboration. Whether attending a contemporary art opening in Cairo, or engaging in dialogue with emerging creatives, Culturvator’s cultural trips offer an enriching, insider experience at the intersection of art, heritage, and community.

Building on more than a decade of cultural programming through Culturvator Art D'Égypte, Culturvator Cultural Foundation carries forward and expands these initiatives.
Art guides Community engagement program
Part of Culturvator's Outreach Program, the Art Guides initiative brings together art students, university students, and emerging enthusiasts for an immersive, hands-on introduction to contemporary art. Guides are present from the installation period through opening night and the full run of the exhibition, working alongside artists, absorbing their process, and translating that knowledge for visitors on-site. Each guide is compensated for their time and receives a certificate of recognition at a closing ceremony honoring their contribution. To date, the program has trained over 360 Art Guides, building a growing community of young cultural ambassadors across Egypt.
free panel discussions
As part of its mission to make art accessible to all, Culturvator hosts a series of free talks and panels featuring renowned artists, curators, and industry leaders, from JR and eL Seed to voices at the intersection of art, technology, and business. These conversations are open to the public and later published on Culturvator's YouTube channel, extending their reach to a global audience long after the exhibition closes. The result is a continuously growing library of insight into contemporary art and the creative process, freely available to anyone curious enough to look.
Unesco x iom community engagement program
In collaboration with the Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO, Datifa, and the International Organization for Migration, Culturvator hosted Egyptian and migrant children, including Sudanese youth, for a full day of art and culture in the Pyramids area. Through storytelling, games, and heritage-focused activities, the program introduces children to the significance of Egypt's cultural legacy and the role they can play in preserving it, while giving migrant children a meaningful point of entry into Egyptian society and history. More than an educational outing, it reflects Culturvator's belief that heritage awareness, and the sense of belonging it fosters, should be accessible to every child, regardless of background.
Factory Residencies
Culturvator partners with private factories across Egypt, inviting them to host our artists and place their raw materials, machinery, and technical know-how in service of large-scale artistic vision. Stamco brought to life a forest of color-tipped steel poles rising from the desert sand. Marmonil shaped a monumental checkerboard archway crowned in gold, framing the pyramids beyond. Harmony cast a golden boat adrift on the sand, sailing toward the ancient skyline. Linchpin Heft engineered a sweeping circular lattice alongside a trio of luminous glass frames. Hossam Zeitoun raised a towering mast crowned with a mirrored disc, standing sentinel before the pyramids. Meuble ElChark curved wood and gold into a sculptural arc balanced against the horizon. Metal Tube wove intricate crimson latticework into a bold arch of pattern and color. Amr Helmy Designs illuminated the desert night with a radiant golden pyramid of light. Mapso Marine suspended a striking hourglass form within a sweeping oval frame. Nadim Foundation brought vivid, sculptural forms into dialogue inside the space. Each collaboration ties Egyptian industry directly to some of Culturvator's most ambitious artistic achievements.
In Kind Donations
Beyond exhibitions, Culturvator collaborates with corporate partners to secure in-kind contributions of materials, craftsmanship, and expertise for the preservation of Egypt's historical sites. Culturvator partnered with Azza Fahmy to donate a bespoke jewellery vitrine to Prince Mohamed Ali Palace, restoring a touch of royal elegance to the space. Working with Duravit and Hassan Allam, Culturvator secured sanitary ware upgrades at Bayt al-Suhaymi, bringing the historic house up to modern standards of comfort and dignity for its visitors. In collaboration with Badya Palm Hills and Inertia, Culturvator facilitated landscape repair around historic mosque grounds, preserving the setting as carefully as the structure itself. Through a partnership with Philips, Culturvator brought conservational lighting to Bayt al-Suhaymi, illuminating its courtyards and façades while protecting them for the long term. Culturvator has also led carriage renovation efforts at the Pyramids, restoring a piece of everyday heritage still in active use today, and coordinated the donation of light fixtures to heritage sites, ensuring these landmarks remain as luminous by night as they are storied by day. Each partnership reflects Culturvator's role as a bridge between corporate resources and Egypt's cultural preservation, turning brand generosity into lasting heritage impact.
UNESCO school trips
In partnership with the Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO, Culturvator organizes dedicated school trips designed to deepen students' understanding of Egypt's world heritage and the responsibility of safeguarding it. These visits go beyond sightseeing, students engage directly with heritage specialists and cultural educators, learning firsthand about conservation, archaeology, and the significance of the sites they're standing in. Rooted in UNESCO's World Heritage Education Program, the initiative reflects a shared belief that protecting Egypt's cultural legacy starts with giving the next generation the knowledge and connection to care about it.
Free School & University trips
As part of its outreach programs, Culturvator offers free guided trips to public schools and universities across Egypt, opening the doors of major exhibitions to students who might not otherwise have access. With over 200 public school trips and 100+ university trips completed to date, the initiative removes cost as a barrier to cultural engagement, giving young people direct, immersive exposure to contemporary art staged against Egypt's ancient heritage. For many students, these trips are a first encounter with the art world, sparking curiosity that extends well beyond the exhibition itself.
Culturvator Conversations is a podcast dedicated to meaningful dialogue around art, design, heritage, and innovation across the AMET (Africa, Middle East and Turkey) region. We amplify the voices of artists, curators, designers, and cultural leaders and spotlight underrepresented voices in the creative economy, particularly leading women shaping the cultural ecosystem.

China: Celebrating 7o years of egypt-china relations
Following the signing of a cultural cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culturvator, Nadine Abdel Ghaffar led an official cultural visit to Shanghai marking seven decades of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt. Rooted in culture, creativity, and cultural tourism, the trip opened the door to stronger artistic exchange and future collaborations between the two nations, with art, archaeology, and education continuing to serve as lasting bridges between the two civilizations. The visit included a series of high-level meetings and new partnership opportunities, among them a visit to Xiaohongshu (Red Book), as Culturvator connected with creative voices and organizations shaping what's next in cultural diplomacy between Egypt and China.
Tale of two cities: Greece & alexandria
Tale of Two Cities traced the timeless dialogue between Alexandria and Athens, two pillars of civilization linked since antiquity through Alexander the Great, founder of Alexandria, whose legacy continues to shape the shared history and cultural identity of both nations. The first exhibition took place at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, bringing international artists into conversation with Greek mythology, philosophy, and history. Its second chapter, staged at the Alexandria Bibliotheca, turned to the significance of both cities as Mediterranean ports, gateways that have long received and exchanged cultural influence across the sea. Together, the two exhibitions celebrate the distinct identities of Egypt and Greece while honoring the deep-rooted historical bonds that continue to connect them.
Tale of two cities: Italy & alexandria
The second edition of Tale of Two Cities brought contemporary Italian photography into dialogue with Alexandria's archaeological heritage through Geography and Mystery, presenting the work of Marina Ballo Charmet and Stefano Cagol, curated by Alessandro Castiglioni, at the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria. In collaboration with Italy's MAGA Museum and with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture in Cairo, the exhibition's second venue showcased four artists, Karim El Hayawan, Gamal Meleka, Stefano Cagol, and Marina Ballo Charmet, reflecting on geography, history, and the shared Mediterranean past and future that connects Italy and Egypt.
Exhibition in collaboration with christie’s
In partnership with Christie's, Culturvator staged an exhibition exploring time and timelessness through discursive practices and disruptive modes of interpretation. Bringing together the work of international artists, the exhibition examined the tension and dialogue between past and present, envisioning a future anchored in a deep understanding of both. Art became a mode of disruption in itself, creating space for interaction and perception as each artist's visual language responded to an ever-changing societal backdrop.

The fOUNDER & president, Culturvator cultural foundation
Nadine Abd El-Ghaffar is a French-Egyptian curator, cultural consultant, and ambassador for the arts.
With a deep-rooted passion for cultural exchange, Nadine has dedicated her career to enhancing Egypt’s presence on the global cultural map. In 2005, she formalized her path by studying curation at Central Saint Martins in London, organizing exhibitions in Egypt and Dubai that bridged regional and international creative communities.
Her longstanding relationships with artists and collectors have supported her commitment to documenting and promoting Egypt’s modern cultural heritage. In 2026, she founded Culturvator Cultural Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting artists and expanding access to art, fashion, design, and cultural expression globally.
As a female entrepreneur, Nadine has often found herself navigating a space with limited institutional support for women. Yet, she remains a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, believing deeply in the power of women to drive cultural and societal change. This commitment was echoed in her participation as a speaker at the 2025 Korea-Egypt 30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations, where she addressed the role of cultural diplomacy and women in shaping future narratives.
In recognition of her impact, Nadine was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government in 2021, named one of Egypt’s Top 50 Women, and received the Women Entrepreneur of the Year award at the 2022 Egypt Entrepreneur Awards. Most recently, she was invited by UN Womento speak at Palais des Nations in Geneva on the role of Egyptian women in art and society.
Riham Rifaat Elsadany U.S. Administrative Representative
Riham ElSadany is an Egyptian-American visual artist, scholar, and university professor whose worldview was shaped by a childhood of international transition, including formative years in Saudi Arabia before returning to Cairo to complete her early education. Her career and studies have since spanned London, Europe, and the United States.
Her creative practice is deeply informed by an extensive academic foundation, holding a PhD and a Master's degree in Art Education, as well as an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Working across large-scale oil painting, traditional printmaking, and immersive multimedia installations, her studio practice investigates the human condition, memory, identity, and the psychological and psychic realms by blending dramatic narratives with keen philosophical observation.
Among her professional honors, Riham was awarded the 2026 Individual Artist Fellowship in Painting by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Her work has been widely exhibited, featuring presentations at the SPRING/BREAK Art Show, the 14C Art Fair in Jersey City, across galleries in New York, and through various international exhibitions—including presentations facilitated by the Egyptian government. Her art is held in prominent collections worldwide, such as the Modern Art Museum in Cairo, the Dalloul Art Foundation in Lebanon, and collections within the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia.
